In the past 2 years we expanded Recharge from the Twin Cities to Fargo, Cedar Rapids, Duluth and Green Bay. To continue impacting the next generation by equipping church staff and their volunteers serving in children's, youth and family ministry, WE NEED YOU!
The four roles listed below work with the Office & Events Manager and local Leadership Teams to make Recharge happen!
1. Speaker Liaison (1.5 to 3 hours 2 days a week) – Work with Events Manager to book 50+ people to do main stage speaking and worship as well as presenters for workshops. This role involves emailing Speaking Agreements; collecting headshots, bios and workshop descriptions; tracking status and progress; communicating with speakers all necessary information for their role during Recharge; working with Marking and Communications Liaison to get workshop descriptions online; and sending thank you notes following Recharge. 2. Sponsor Liaison (1.5 to 3 hours 2 days a week) – Work with Events Manager to get 30+ sponsors and exhibitors to partner with Recharge helping to keep ticket prices low and offer valuable resources to participants. This role involves emailing Sponsor Agreements; collecting logos, ads, and swag; tracking status and progress; communicating with sponsors all necessary information for their role during Recharge; working with Marking and Communications Liaison to get sponsor logos and web addresses online; and sending thank you notes following Recharge. 3. Marking & Communications Liaison (1.5 to 3 hours 2 days a week) - Work with Events Manager to create and schedule social media posts, create and schedule emails promoting Recharge, update Recharge website, strategize and implement better use of Lunch & Learns for marketing, compare previous years’ attendees with current registration and contact where appropriate, and prepare promotional materials as requested per city. 4. Logistics Liaison (1-3 hours a week) – Work with Events Manager to handle logistics pertaining to each city that fit our budget. This would include ordering lunches, donuts, and snacks. Ordering / renting chairs, tables, nametags, folders, books, t-shirts, bingo and ministry super-hero prizes, and other needed supplies. Work with the contact on each city’s Leadership Team to coordinate and communicate with volunteers in each city to prepare them for their roles the day of Recharge. Work with Marketing & Communications Liaison for ministry super-hero nominees. Work with Sponsor Liaison for main stage give-aways and ministry super hero prizes. (AVAILABLE NOW)
